the science of communication
|
Deborah Goodall Early in my career, I realised that the success of projects, and indeed so much in life, depends on more than just technical excellence. The big challenge is to address cultural and behavioural changes. This is rooted in how we communicate and build personal and corporate relationships at every moment of every day I believe strongly that communication in business is about winning both hearts and minds - and it can't be 'fudged'. You communicate what you are - values always show through. And communication must line up with the things you do and the way you do them. This sounds simple, but you will know of many business examples where the message intended was not the message received I have worked with consultancies and life science businesses to develop effective communication - with direct advice and by helping their people understand and practice these skills for themselves |
