Our team
Deborah Goodall – Facilitator and coach

My working life began in corporate communication and continues to be about helping individuals and organisations develop the vision, values and skills that allow for genuine communication and success in business.
Drawn to coaching by experiencing how it accelerates progress, I am passionate about helping people clarify direction and feel valued in what they do which, in turn, renews energy, motivation and commitment. This happens in the intimacy of individual work and also with teams and businesses.
I am a qualified coach, NLP Master Practitioner and a PR strategist. My business background spans more than 20 years in law, industry, marketing services and in organisations interfacing with the NHS. I was Head of Communications at Merck in the UK and MD of a specialist PR consultancy before moving on to work as a consultant, trainer and coach.
I have worked as a coach and a facilitator with a variety of clients from multi-national corporates to charitable foundations and owner-managed businesses. I am also able to draw on wider experience with the NHS, media and marketing services, pharmaceuticals and technology.
I work with you to help you have the conversations that you most want.
Mike Hughes – NLP Trainer and coach

I am a coach and NLP trainer and I love doing what I do because it is all about having fruitful conversations. I like nothing better than creating the space and opportunity for conversations that are truthful, engaging and challenging because they are always a starting point for making progress and bringing about positive change.
I specialise in creating the opportunity for people to experience new ways of thinking so that they achieve the breakthroughs that enable them to blossom and get even more enjoyment and happiness from the work they do and the lives they lead.
What can be more satisfying than seeing people motivated because they understand what they want to achieve and, furthermore, know how they are going to do it? That is why I love doing what I do.
I developed my passion for coaching during my 25 years of working in a variety of supply chain and sales roles for Unilever so I also have the practical experience of working in a large organisation and everything that goes with it.
Adrian Goodall – Executive coach and facilitator

Throughout my career I have always enjoyed working with clients and colleagues to discover and create the best ways of moving forward to achieve results which work. In addition to the knowledge and skills involved in any role, that usually includes clarity of direction and strategy, decisiveness and confidence, strength, leadership and a willingness to do things differently.
I believe that the process of coaching is one of the most effective ways to build these qualities and actions in a way that is truly 'owned' by the client. I also know from my own experience just how powerful coaching can be in creating change.
My experience spans over 25 years in business, including 18 years in equity markets with Goldman Sachs, UBS and others, as well as senior management experience in industry and in venture funding. I am a member of the International Coach Federation having trained with Coaching Development.
Dr Sue Mayor – Medical journalist and facilitator

Sue works with us on communications development programmes for the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
I am an experienced medical writer, editor and trainer and was recently voted UK Medical Journalist of the Year by the Medical Journalists’ Association. I have worked for 20 years in medical journalism and communications and currently combine ‘hands on’ medical writing – writing regularly for the British Medical Journal, where I was previously news editor, and for a wide range of pharmaceutical companies and other healthcare organisations – with training in writing and communications skills. I am trained in effective education, behaviour change and group work facilitation techniques.
